Go figure.

I'm a writer, I haven't drawn anything in about 8 years. And now look, I've been on DeviantArt for less than a week and all I've been doing is drawing. Nonstop!

I guess part of me really missed drawing anime and stuff. I fell out of practice long ago. I used to draw much DragonBall Z stuff, I got good enough that I could do it from memory. But that was so long ago.

Now, as a writer, I love to create my own characters, my own places, ideas, blah blah. Is it the same with drawing perhaps? I don't know. I just know that I've picked up something I had loved at one point and have rediscovered how much I did indeed love it.

Why do you draw? You, who is reading this now. Why do you do it? There must be a reason. An escape perhaps? A creative outlet? A way to let go of feelings in a non destructive way?

Writing fills all of those reasons for me, so why is it that I'm addicted to drawing again??
